What do I do to get started with my .name?
Please fill in your first name in the field marked "firstname", and your last name in the field marked "lastname".

If you have several first names, you can put them all in the "firstname" field, and similar if you have several last names, write them in the "lastname" field.

We will take the names you provide and attempt to create the optimal .name address for you on when you click "Check Availability". You can modify our suggested .name on the next page if you like.
 
What happens next?

1) Choose your .name. Your last name is guaranteed. You can vary your firstname with initials and/or nicknames

2) Activate your .name for a time length of 1, 2 or 10 years; you can always extend it later

3) Decide where you want your .name email and www forwarded; you can change the forwarding address whenever you want

4) Tell your friends and contacts to start sending email to your .name address; your friends will always remember your new address
