Choosing a subscription length
You can select longer subscriptions for the
activation of your .name registration. If you choose a shorter subscription,
don't worry, we will remind you in good time before it expires.
All subscriptions currently come with
FREE web address subscription.
Setting your email destination
Because the .name address can forward
to anywhere in the world, you must provide a first destination
address for your email. This is the address to which incoming
emails to your firstname@lastname.name address will be sent.
This could for example be an address like
petkl_morg34@hotmail.com.
You can change this destination address
as often as you want by logging in at http://login.firstname.lastname.name
(where firstname.lastname.name is your .name www address that
you get for free when you buy your firstname@lastname.name email
address)
Your friends can always send emails to
your .name address, but you can choose the destination address
where to read and receive it, whether it is hotmail, yahoo, AOL,
etc.
You can change the destination address whenever you want, but
your .name will always remain the same. This way, you will never
again have to change your email address, but can always choose
where to get your email. The .name email can forward anywhere,
giving you the easiest address to remember in the world, while
leaving you full flexibility to choose where to get it.
(This way, you can hide your complicated
and ugly hotmail address :)
